It’s what women have always known and what childbirth educators have always said. “Women should be encouraged to take up whatever position they find most comfortable in the first stage of labor.” Still, it’s nice to read the Cochrane review with this conclusion. (Cochrane is one of the most respected sources for information about evidence-based health care.)
